Job(s) of the Week - bar staff for Blind Pig Heswall

By Mark Gorton

4th Oct 2021 | Local Features

The Blind Pig at 168 Telegraph Road is looking for bar staff.

The popular cocktail bar is well established and a fun place to hang out, and its partnership with Heswall Hall means an evening there - just over the road from the Blind Pig - for a show or gig can be livened up nicely with a Blind Pig snifter or two.

As reported a while back here on Heswall Nub News, the Blind Pig bars in Heswall and West Kirby pride themselves on becoming the first bars in the North West to pay their staff the real Living Wage.

The commitment means every staff member over 18 working for Scofflaw & Harding, the company which operates the two venues - the West Kirby bar is on Banks Road - receive a minimum £9.50 hourly wage.

Matt and Hannah Whitby formed Scofflaw & Harding in 2018, taking the name from two prohibition-era Chicago bootleggers. The flagship Blind Pig opened the same year in Heswall and specialises in unique cocktails and unusual flavoured gins and spirits.

If you are interested in a bar job at Blind Pig, use twitter to send the owners a message, or you can reach the Contact page of the Blind Pig website by clicking or tapping here.
