On Saturday, Heswall Farmers' Market at Heswall Hall provides a one stop shop for locally grown and cooked produce and products.
Wander round and pick up some delicious goodies and support local producers.
Stalls can vary from month to month but there's always something for everyone including: meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, pies, jams and chutneys, cakes and other baked goods, pizza, ice cream and street food.
The Market is open between 10am and 2pm, and admission is free.
On the grassroots football front, on Saturday Heswall FC's First Team will welcome Vauxhall Motors Reserves to Gayton Park on Brimstage Road.
Kick off is at 2pm, and support for the Yellows is always very gratefully received.
Says Heswall chairman, Robbie Matthews: "We're looking for a big three points from a game against old rivals to start 2022 - and the bar will be open, so fans can enjoy a big three pints as well if they wish - so long as they're not driving."
If you're tempted by a movie, Spiderman: No Way Home is just the ticket if you fancy a couple of hours of pure, rip-roaring and very smart escapism.
It's fast and funny, daring, self aware without being too clever for its own good, and sees Spidey hook up with Doctor Strange as old enemies impossibly but very dangerously return to target the young web slinger, while new ones get in on the act too.
The film is playing at The Light Cinema in New Brighton. On Saturday and Sunday there are seven screenings each day.
We're keen to promote events in our area here on this site, so if you are organising or promoting one, no matter if it's large or small, please go to What's On and follow the easy instructions which explain how to 'Nub It'.
Listing an event is easy and free.
