Employers looking to recruit colleagues will be on hand for an informal chat about what they do, the vacancies they have, who they are looking to take on, and the qualifications required for posts on offer.

Jobs on offer include: Aviation Security Officers; Retail Customer Advisers; Food and Beverage members; Food and Beverage Team Leaders; Bar Team Members; Bar Team Leaders; Kitchen and Chef Roles; Handling Agents; Baggage Handlers; Passenger Assistance Roles; Engineering Roles (electrical and maintenance); and Car Park Operatives.

Potential employers include: Wilson James; ABM; World Duty Free; Swissport; SSP; and Boots.

No appointment is necessary - you can just turn up and make yourself known. There are 200 vacancies available ahead of the Summer season which starts at the end of March.

Some employers may undertake interviews on the day.

The recruitment day will take place in the Cavern Suite, which is in the centre of the terminal building. Once you enter the terminal, the event will be clearly signposted, and there will be staff present wearing hi-vis vests if you need any help and directions.

There'll be a welcome desk close to the statue of John Lennon.

Anyone interested can get to John Lennon Airport by car or public transport. If driving you can use the postcode L24 1YD which will lead you to the main airport entrance - then follow the signs for the multi-storey car park.

You won't need to pay for parking - an exit ticket will be issued to you when you leave the event.
