Garden waste subscription window now open

The window for subscriptions to Wirral Council's garden waste collection service remains open for another couple of weeks, but if you want to set and pay by direct debit you need to get your skates on - the closing date to do that is the end of May.

The next garden waste collection period runs from 29th June until 31st May 2022.

The price for fortnightly garden waste collections for 2021/22 is £43 for one brown bin and £25 for each additional bin.

Those who want to carry on receiving collections without interruption should make sure they resubscribe by 14th June.

But if would like to set up a direct debit for this year's and subsequent payments, you need to do this by 31st May.

The Direct Debit option is available so you can avoid having to resubscribe every year and to register you will need to sign in to or create your free MyWirral account.

To resubscribe with a one-off credit or debit card payment, visit the council website by clicking or tapping here.

Due to service disruption in early 2021, current subscribers will continue to receive collections until 28th June, but they will need to resubscribe to have your brown bin collected after this date.
