Delays to local garden waste bin emptying - but don't panic!

A high number of Biffa's bin collection crews are currently self-isolating.

This unfortunately means some service disruption to the garden waste collections this week, as Wirral Council prioritises the collection of general rubbish (green) and recycling (grey) bins.

Wirral Council requests that garden waste subscribers continue to put your bins out for collection on your usual days.

If the bins in your road are not emptied by 5pm, put them back out again the following day by 7am. Crews will be catching up on missed collections throughout the week.

If the bins in your road have been emptied, but your bin was missed, please report this as a missed bin collection by clicking or tapping here.

The Council extends apologies for any inconvenience and says its crews will be with you as soon as possible.
