Wirral detectives investigating an assault in Arrowe Park have issued an image of two men they'd like to speak to in connection with their investigation.
At around 6.10pm on Tuesday 21 September, police received a report that a male victim walking his dog near Arrowe Park playing fields was assaulted.
It was reported that the victim was driven into by an off road bike and kicked and punched by two male suspects.
It was further reported that the victim was hit with a metal bar on his back.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was left shaken by the incident.
Merseyside Police has issued CCTV images of two men they would like speak to.
Detective Inspector Lynsay Armbruster said: "This was a disgraceful attack which left a man injured and we are working hard to find those responsible and bring them to justice.
"I would ask anyone who recognises the men or who has information which could assist our investigation, to come forward and we will take action.
"Such despicable behaviour has no place in Merseyside and we'll do all we can to put those responsible before the courts."
