By Mark Gorton

29th Jul 2021 | Local Features

A chance to join the team behind Heswall's Burnt Truffle, one of six restaurants operated in the North West by the Elite Bistros group.

Remuneration: up to £27,000 per annum plus tips.

Hard on the heels of a wildly successful crowdfunding campaign which breached its £150,000 target in less than 24 hours of a proposed 30 day appeal, Elite Bistros is seeking a General Manager for Heswall's Burnt Truffle.

Burnt Truffle is well known in Heswall, with many diners particularly fond of its outdoor terrace.

The restaurant has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for the quality of its food, with a great list of wines by the glass chosen to match the menu.

The crowdfunding campaign will help Elite launch a new events and 'Elite at home' business.

The General Manager at Burnt Truffle takes overall responsibility for the management of the restaurant, making sure that guests are happy, developing the front of house team, and ultimately ensuring a profitable business.

This is a hands-on role, which requires a love of food, drink and looking after people.

There are plenty of benefits, like 50% off dining and an equal share of all tips, and you'll also find yourself in a supportive environment with opportunities to develop and progress.
