As a non-maintained special school, West Kirby School and College caters for children and young people, aged 5-19 years, with a range of complex special educational needs and disabilities. The School and College supports pupils with social and communication difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Condition, complex learning, sensory and emotional needs, across a range of cognitive abilities.Role Overview:
The role of the School Nurse requires you to manage the School's Health Care Assistant and Medical Department as part of the School's wider Clinical Services. You should be prepared and able to deliver to student sessions/ programmes associated with health care matters, such as healthy eating, mental health and wellbeing. The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director and be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day medical care of pupils. The post holder will need to be an excellent communicator, and be able to liaise with a number of internal and external agencies as part of the role.Application Process:

- Salary Band: £25,976.34- £28,005.12 (pt 27-29). Salary based on 30 hours per week / 44.2 week contract
