Heswall Musical Society presents "The Argyle Remembered". The story in song and dance of Birkenhead's famous Argyle Theatre. The Argyle Theatre opened in 1868 and was sadly bombed during the second world war. The show portrays acts from the music hall era including Vesta Tilley, Ella Sheilds, Flannagan and Allen and many more. The show takes place at Heswall Hall from Thursday 30th June to Saturday 2nd July. Thursday and Friday performances are at 7.30pm (doors 7.00pm) and Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
