The Sunday Times recently named West Kirby one of the best places to live in the north west of England.

So maybe home buyers have turned in the direction of the seaside town just up the road from Heswall.

You can find out why the newspaper included West Kirby in its roll of honour by clicking or tapping here.

This four bedroom semi-detached home has just come on to the market with Hewitt Adams of Pensby Road, Heswall.

It has a price tag of £450,000, and just a few minutes walk from the lively town centre and railway station, while also in the catchment area for well regarded local schools.

Hewitt Adams says: "The property is stylish and modern and benefits from a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room extension over the garage.

"Downstairs there is also a combined W.C. and utility room.

"Upstairs there are four bedrooms and the main family shower-room.

"At the front there is a driveway and the garage, while at the rear you'll find a large landscaped garden with patio, timber decked area and a substantial lawn."
