Detectives are appealing for information following an assault on the Wirral Way earlier this month.

At around 10am on Wednesday 1 September, a man is his 50s was walking his dogs on the Wirral Way near to Melloncroft Drive West in Caldy, in the direction of Thurstaston.

Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses following a confrontational burglary at the home of a Wirral pensioner.

At around 9pm last night, Wednesday 15th September, the woman, who is in her 80s, was awoken by three men in the bedroom of her house in the Arrowe Park Road area of Upton.

Church Farm has submitted a planning application to Wirral Council proposing the creation of a natural burial ground to the south of the popular attraction's land.
