Assistant Chief Constable Russ Jackson, Head of Counter Terrorism Policing North West, said: "The investigation into the terrorist incident at Liverpool Women's Hospital on Sunday 14 November continues.
"The taxi in which the device exploded has now been removed and today line searches by specialist officers will take place at the Hospital which could go into tomorrow.

The latest figures follow a trend of declining case numbers, which has been consistent since early October.

The policing tactic, where armed officers will be patrolling carrying firearms, is something other forces already use at airports and in city centres.

Following last week's victory over Capenhurst Villa, our First Team made the trip over to Maghull in what is always a tough game and a notoriously difficult place to claim victory. A fantastic club with a great set up, Maghull have a proud history and are a very well run outfit so we knew we were in for a game.
Our lads started like a team with renewed confidence and got at our hosts from the start. Man of the Match and skipper Christian Lewis led from the front, a player who has made a fine career for himself doing the hard work in the middle of the pitch, putting his foot in and driving us forward.

The circumstances, as we understand them to be, are that yesterday shortly before 11am, a local taxi driver picked up a fare in the Rutland Avenue area of Liverpool.
