The candidates who will be fighting for the seats up for grabs in the local elections of May 5 have been revealed.

One councillor will be elected in the Heswall ward, and one in Pensby and Thingwall.

Both wards have three councillors in total.

If you're planning to vote but haven't registered yet, you can do so by clicking or tapping here. You have until Thursday 14 April to do so.

The deadline to apply for a postal vote for these elections is 5pm on Tuesday 19 April 2022 (the elections team must have received your application form by this time) and you can download an application form here.

If you already have a postal vote, you do not need to reapply for these elections. If you are unsure, please contact the Wirral elections team by email: [email protected]
