Christmas trees bring such joy!
Faces young and old illuminated by both twinkling lights and the glowing inner spirit of Christmas!
The cockles of the hearts of passers by warmed as they gaze at your magical front window!
Yes, Christmas trees are so delightful!
Until you have to get rid of them…
Ramming your tree into the car for a trip to the tip leads inevitably to scratching of paintwork and ripping of upholstery, swiftly followed by the clogging up of the vacuum cleaner hose as you attempt in vain to gather up several hundred pine needles.
That's how easily December elation becomes January despair!
So why not let Wirral Hospice take the seasonal strain and support the charity's important work at the same time?
Volunteers will be out from Friday January 15th collecting post-Christmas trees, so all you need to do is register your tree by 5pm on Sunday 10th January.
To register please click or tap here.
In return the Hospice welcomes donations:
£7 for a tree under 5 feet
