This morning, police officers were concerned for the welfare of a woman in Neston and appealed for help to find her.
At 7.30am a dog walker in the Flint Meadow area of Neston was approached by a woman in 'a distressed state'.
The woman would not stay and walked off while the dog walker called police.
A search for the woman - thought to be in her mid-50s - was initiated and, as she remained unfound, officers became increasingly concerned for her welfare and asked the public for help.
The story ended happily. The woman has been found 'safe and well'.
