Police appeal for help following tragic death of young motorcyclist in Eastham

An accident in Eastham on Friday night sadly resulted in the death of a 27 year old motorcyclist.

At around 8.20pm, police and the ambulance service were called to Ferry Road, responding to reports that a motorcycle had collided with a wall.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital and sadly died a short while later.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers at this time.

Sergeant Ged Ferguson, said: "An investigation is ongoing after a man sadly died following a collision in Eastham last night and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist our investigation."
