Thornton Hough: Police appeal following serious Neston Road collision

Merseyside Police is appealing for witnesses after a serious collision near Thornton Hough on Thursday 24 June.

Emergency services were called to Neston Road at around 6.25pm to a report a blue VW Passat and a silver/grey VW Polo had been in collision.

The occupants of the VW Polo were taken to hospital where they were treated for their injuries. They have since been discharged.

A 24-year-old man from Hyde was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving. He has been released under investigation.

We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have captured it on their vehicle's dash cam to come forward.
