One of the most 'unloved' homes in Wirral? This nice looking place on Milner Road, Heswall? Surely not…

Heswall Nub News was distressed a few days ago to see this property on a Liverpool Echo list of the most 'unloved' cribs in the region.

The criterion to be met to be named and shamed in this way appears to be the length of time a home has been on the market - in this case with online estate agent, Purplebricks.

True enough, the four bedroom detached house was first listed in August 2017, meaning it's been waiting three and a half years for new owners.

But then, maybe the current residents are happy to bide their time until someone is prepared to pay the price they regard as appropriate.

Which is: £595,000 or over - and it's notable that it was originally offered at £575,000, a price which was raised by £20,000 in July 2018.

Describing the residence as 'unloved' seemed to us to be on the harsh side, and certainly as homes go it has a lot to commend it.

Like: a spacious rear garden, great views over open countryside, four bedrooms of which three have en-suites, most of what Heswall has to offer is within walking distance, and there's a double entrance driveway leading to off-road parking for several cars which can be parked behind the wrought iron gates.

The house has undergone significant improvements in recent years.
