A networking group with a schedule of meetings including those which, in normal times, are held at the Devon Doorway pub, is joining forces with another established group with the aim of providing the best networking opportunities for North West business.

JK Business Club is joining Networx4Business and will be re-branded Networx CH1, indicating that when face to face events come back the meeting will take place in Chester City Centre.

Networx4Business currently runs 10 meetings every fortnight – Heswall, Wrexham, Lunch Online, Chester evening, Chester morning, Little Sutton, Eastham, Deeside, Birkenhead and Manchester.

Daryl Vickers, who founded Networx in April 2013, has been planning on extending the reach of his networking meetings but knew that injecting new blood into the business would help meet his objective.

Judith Kenyon, JayKay Events Director, founded JK Business Club in 2016 and ran Women in Business lunches, monthly breakfast meetings, after hours meetings, and supportive informal gatherings pre-COVID 19.

The JK Business Club took a break at the start of the pandemic, but came back to life in September, being run online every other Monday.

Daryl said: "Jude and I had spoken a couple of times about our respective events, and it was obvious to me that Jude would be the ideal person to collaborate with. I'm really looking forward to seeing what 2021 holds for this exciting new venture."

Judith added: "When you work with someone, especially in a networking capacity which is about connecting with like-minded individuals, it's so important to have the right fit, and Daryl and I are exactly that.

"Both Daryl and I have the same ethos when it comes to our networking meetings. We focus on our members and make sure our meetings work for them. It's about what we can do, not what we can get. If someone finds networking a struggle, we give tips and hints to help them, and offer advice on how to be more confident."

The new Networx meetings will take place in Chester, Frodsham, Runcorn, Liverpool and Warrington from Monday 8 March.

All meetings are currently run online via Microsoft Teams and attendance is free for the first three visits.
