Hickory's Smokehouse on Village Road in West Kirby wishes to recruit a Head Chef to join the team there.

This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, with the chance to earn up to an extra £5000+ with Tip Jar thrown in.

Key responsibilities of the Head Chef:

- The day to day running of the kitchen

- Doing rotas, stocks and management of the kitchen team

- Overseeing an enthusiastic and hard­working team delivering a quality service to a high standard

- Developing and training the kitchen team to a high standard to maximise both food service and bottom line profits

- Working to labour budgets

- Ordering and stock controls

Essential requirements of a Hickory's Head Chef:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment

- Food hygiene and health and safety knowledge and certificates

- Strong passion for food and for customer satisfaction

- Ability to lead and inspire a team

- Possess excellent organisational skills

- Flexible and adaptable in your approach to work
