Job of the Week: Career Starter Apprentice in Retail at Heswall Aldi

By Mark Gorton

29th Jul 2021 | Local News

Earlier this year Aldi announced it would recruit 75 apprentices as part of the chain's continuing expansion, and this Heswall based role is one of them and has just been advertised.

Says Aldi: "One thing's for sure as a Career Starter Apprentice in Retail - you'll never be bored. Balancing theory with practical store work, you'll be expected to work hard on this one-year programme.

"There's a real family feel here and we all pitch in as part of a close-knit team.

"And since there's always loads of support from those around you, ranging from Store Managers to Store Assistants, you'll never feel like you're struggling.

"In this fast paced environment you'll get to learn something new every day in a company that thrives on being different.

"As someone who wants to make things happen, you'll find all this adds up to an exciting challenge.

"The time will fly by and before you know it you will have your Level 2 Retail qualification and be working as a fully-fledged Store Assistant with real opportunities for progression in the future."

This is a full-time job on a fixed term contract, with a starting salary of £6.34 per hour.
