Fun and frolics - what's not to like?

Following their recent, successful production of The Argyle Remembered, Heswall Musical Society is looking for new members to join up for the forthcoming Christmas extravaganza called Festive Fun and Frolics

The show will take place at Heswall Hall on Thursday 1st and Tuesday 6th December, and will feature an entertaining mixture of Christmas songs, carols, comedy and dance.

As for the stars of the show, well, it could be YOU, because the casting call is underway and new and unsung talent - though it helps if the unsung talent likes singing - is more than welcome.

If you would like to become part of Heswall Musical Society there's an information night on Tuesday 30th August at 7.00pm at Kylemore Community Centre on Kylemore Drive in Pensby (CH61 6XS).

Rehearsals for the new show will then take place on each Tuesday evening at 7.00pm.

At the information night you'll get to hear more about the Society and what Festive Fun and Frolics is all about.

The Society's Phil Lyne says: "Come and join Heswall Musical Society as we are a really friendly society and we will make you feel very welcome.

"If you can dance, if you love to sing, maybe you enjoy singing solos, then come along each Tuesday night.

"We always have a break for refreshments at rehearsals when we all like to chat with each other.

"For our last show we welcomed a new member who had never performed on stage before - and she thoroughly enjoyed herself."

'The Argyle Remembered' was performed at Heswall Hall from 30th of June to 2nd of July.
