Wirral Leisure plans to relaunch its timetable of more than 50 indoor fitness classes from next week, bringing exercise classes available every week to a total of 120.

Indoor classes will restart from Monday 17 May at West Kirby Leisure Centre, Wirral Tennis Centre at Bidston, and Europa Leisure Centre in Birkenhead. Classes are available to book online from today, Thursday 13 May.

The Wirral Tennis Centre's Sports Hall at Bidston will also be available from Monday 17 May for individuals, families and groups/clubs to book indoor sports, and Guinea Gap Leisure Centre in Wallasey will reopen its leisure pool for weekend family swimming in addition to the training pool that is already open.

Pre booking and payment is essential before attending any facility or activity, either on a pay and play basis or with an Invigor8 membership. Bookings can be made from today for exercise classes and Monday 17 May for all other activities.

Swimming facilities (including children's swimming classes) at Europa, West Kirby and Guinea Gap Leisure Centres and gyms facilities at Wirral Tennis Centre, West Kirby and Guinea Gap Leisure Centres continue to operate after they reopened on 12 April 2021.

Children's tennis lessons are also available at Wirral Tennis Centre, and the creche at West Kirby is available for children aged 0-4 years old.
