Heswall Primary School is leading the way when it comes to science and the environment with their annual Wirral Science in the Sunshine evening.
This event is expected to wow local science and environment lovers of all ages across the Wirral on Wednesday from 4-6pm.
This will be Heswall Primary's sixth year of hosting the event, and this year it is set to be the biggest yet, with over 60 scientific and environmental stalls, a giant inflatable orca, Virtual Reality experiences, live animal shows, a bubble exhibition and even scientific yoga sessions! Over 1000 people are expected to attend this unique get-together.
As always, the focal point of the event will be the giant screen film premier of a collaborative scientific/eco film made by; Heswall Primary, St. George's Primary, Castleway Primary and Brookdale Primary.
This year's film, 'Climate in Chaos', has been inspired by the author Neal Layton who will be attending the event - the visuals and audio were created by Impossible Arts and Daphodil Music.
Headteacher Jon Lawrenson explained: "We are delighted to organise and host this event for the sixth year.
"The night is expected to be a magical outdoor adventure of scientific and environmental discovery for all to enjoy.
"Our intention is to raise the profile of science and sustainability in our local community and provide an event where families, pupils and teachers can network with the many wonderful scientific organisations Wirral has to offer.
"There is something for everyone".
The event is free to attend and starts at 4pm on Wednesday 6th July at Heswall Primary School on Whitfield Lane.
