Heswall Hall has a ball raising money for local good causes
Charities in Wirral benefited to the tune of around £1,000 thanks to a glittering Platinum Ball at Heswall Hall.
The event, held in conjunction with the incoming Mayor of Wirral Jeff Green, took place on June the 4th and saw guests - all clad in either black tie or fabulous frocks - raise a glass to mark Her Majesty The Queen's 70 years on the throne.
It was also a chance to enjoy a stunning three course meal courtesy of caterers Boysenberry, as well as a specially concocted cocktail by Blind Pig.
Around 90 guests then danced the night away to a live band, but not before giving generously to a raffle with much coveted prizes - including a stunning selection of diamond jewellery from Hallmark Jewellers, and a top stylist cut, finish and products to take home courtesy of Andrew Collinge.
Cash raised will now go to The Mayor's chosen charities for the year - Maggie's, which provides support for those affected by cancer, and Arrowe Park Baby Unit.
"It was such a great night," said chair of trustees at Heswall Hall, Karen Griffith.
"A great deal of planning went into the event but it came together wonderfully.
"The hall was dressed almost as fabulously as our guests - there was a real wow factor when you walked in - and we are thrilled to have raised so much for charity."
