Heswall Hall is open again, brighter, bolder, more ambitious, with a new sound and lighting system and other top notch refurbishments.

This means live entertainment is returning to the Hall, which plans to become one of Wirral's must visit venues, reaching out beyond Heswall while, at the same time, providing all the services the community has come to know and love ever since the Hall passed from local authority control to that of the Heswall Hall Community Trust.

Next week, on Tuesday the 27th to Thursday the 29th at 7.30pm, the Woolgatherers of Heswall invite you to enjoy a Comedy Cocktail - an evening of extracts from the work of Heswall playwright Ros Moruzzi.

The Woolgatherers of Heswall was formed in 1940 with the aim of bringing quality entertainment to local audiences.

Says the Woolgatherers: "We are a friendly and accessible society and are always looking for new members. We produce three full length plays every year and also host a one-act play evening and an in-house pantomime.

"If you have a yearning for the bright lights then we would welcome new faces to grace our stage.

"If the bright lights are not to your liking then maybe you have the skills that we could use front-of-house or back-stage, we have openings for people interested in wardrobe, props, lighting and sound, marketing etc.
