The fire at the Dee View Inn in the early hours of Monday morning damaged decking and fencing that formed part of the pub's attractive and popular outdoor area.
It appears to have started accidentally in a parked van - whereupon the flames spread.
Firefighters in two appliances responded quickly and dealt with the blaze.
Shortly afterwards a Dee View supporter called Sue Wright created a GoFundMe page, writing: "[Landlords] Kay and Lee have had THE most difficult time financially particularly after Covid and it's as yet unclear if the insurance will pay for the damage.
"They need support now to help clear the debris and replace the decking and furniture so that they can trade as quickly as possible again.
"If anyone would like to donate to help get them up and running the beer garden again for summer then this is gratefully received.
"IF the insurance do pay out (which may take some time) the items bought from this donation page will be donated to local charities which will be posted on the Dee View Facebook for transparency.
"Kay and Lee are always the first to help others - now it's our local community's turn to help them. Thank you."
People have responded warmly to Sue's call. At time of writing the total raised from generous donors stands at £2,340.
