Today and on Sunday you can visit 'Forget-Me-Not', a wartime walk-in experience at Heswall Hall which recreates some of the sights and sounds of World War Two for Remembrance Week.

Amongst the entertainment will be Lilli Moore, a young and talented performer who will conjure up the kind of songs which gave comfort and hope to troops overseas and civilians on the home front.

Tickets cost £5 per person for a session, timed at 1pm to 2.30pm, and 2.30pm to 4pm.

Profits from this event will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

Down at the excellent YOT cafe on Banks Road and not far from the shore, the exhibition of paintings by local artist Kevin Adams continues.

It's called 'Locale' and features work by the largely self-taught painter who says, "I revel in the ever changing scenery and landscapes around me. I seek to express that for which words fall short."

So if you fancy, take a walk, enjoy a bite to eat at YOT and some immersive pictures.

Following a welcome return to form and a triple win weekend, Heswall Football Club teams are in action again on Saturday.

Heswall Reserves welcome Chester Nomads Reserves to Gayton Park. Kick off is at 2pm.

The First Team travels to take on Maghull FC, also kicking off at 2pm.

Forza the Yellows!
