Cheshire & Merseyside Cancer Alliance (CMCA) has launched a new-look website which gives the public and healthcare professionals the latest information about cancer services across the region.

The website also highlights how CMCA is working to improve cancer prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and aftercare for people across Cheshire and Merseyside by creating better cancer services, better cancer care and better cancer outcomes.

CMCA brings together region-wide organisations involved with cancer from GP surgeries and hospitals, to research bodies and specialist networks, to ensure that patients have the fastest possible access to diagnostic tests and cancer treatments, and care is tailored to their particular needs.

The updated website, which you can reach by clicking or tapping here, includes resources for professionals and information relating to the work and governance of the Alliance.

Jon Hayes, CMCA Managing Director, who has written a blog on the work of the Alliance for the site, said: "I am delighted about the launch of our new-look website.

"We hope professionals and the public from across Cheshire and Merseyside will find it even more informative and easy to use than our old site, which has served us well for the last four years.

"We will be building up the content and resources on the site to reflect the wide-ranging initiatives we are involved with to help achieve the NHS's national target of an extra 55,000 people each year surviving cancer for five years or more following their cancer diagnosis."
