Winsford based container refurbishment specialist UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) has been celebrating a record-breaking year with turnover hitting £7.8 million. The success has now prompted significant business expansion.

UKCM continues to support businesses across Cheshire and nationwide in securing cost-savings with the maintenance of their waste and recycling containers, whilst also extending the longevity of the assets.

Alongside this, the company has launched a series of new products and services to continue its process of diversification including maintenance for furniture, litter bins, metal stillages, transit cages and bespoke metal pallets, all carried out at the customers site or at the state-of-the-art refurbishment facility.

Container repair and refurbishment specialist UK Container Maintenance (UKCM) is celebrating a highly successful year announcing significant business expansion and a record year-end turnover of £7.8 million. 

The success follows a multitude of contract wins which prompted a bolstering of its workforce throughout the year. Most recently, the company appointed Jamie-Lee Ross to the position of Purchasing and Production Planner and strengthened its Sales and Business Development team.

Further developments for the company throughout the year include upweighted operational capability. UKCM expanded its fleet of rapid response vehicles and mobile engineers to meet increased demand for visits to client premises for container repair and refurbishment, to undertake any statutory testing and for the installation of UKCM Connect container tracking devices. The introduction of UKCM Connect responds to a direct industry need to move container management to the next level, offering services that not only increase the lifespan of a container but also help to maintain compliance, maximise utilisation, enhance security, minimise transportation costs and maximize margin for the container provider.
