Job of the Week: Domestic Assistant at Arrowe Park Hospital's Education Centre

Arrowe Park Hospital needs someone with a strong cleaning background and a genuine interest in health care to help provide support to the Education Centre as a Domestic Assistant.

The Trust has a placement opportunity available for a temporary Domestic Assistant.

Remuneration is £9.21 per hour plus accrued holiday pay.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- General cleaning, including toilets of offices, meeting rooms in the Education Centre, Undergraduate Centre, Clinical Skills and Doctors' Mess.

- Tasks will include dusting and vacuuming, carrying out deep cleaning, notifying management of any centre repairs, and ensuring stock levels are maintained.

Candidates must have previous cleaning experience and experience of working as part of a team.

They will also have a flexible approach to work and have the ability to work on their own initiative.

This is a Full-Time role of 37.5 Hours Per Week, and the successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday.

The duration of the role is 3 months.

If you have the following skills:

- Evidence of working in a similar role

- The ability to work independently and to a strict timetable

- The ability to work closely with other people

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
