Fitness enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the gym at the Oval again as it reopens from next week.

On Monday 9 August, gym facilities can be accessed at The Oval Leisure Centre.

Gym opening times are:

- Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 8.30pm

- Friday, 7.30am to 2.30pm

Works are ongoing to reopen the pool and it should be available for swimmers by the end of the month. Further updates will be provided to confirm the date for reopening.

Outdoor facilities, including football pitches, tennis courts and outdoor exercise classes, continue to be available at the site.

Booking is essential.

Whilst the site will be reopened for more activities, the Sports Hall remains closed for leisure activities as it continues to operate as a vaccination centre.
